Being able to prepare in advance was some of a coping mechanism, however the day he passed and even though the last few months of his life were bed ridden and he was pretty much unconscious, it still was the most painful experience of heart ache I have ever had to go through. My father passed away in January2012 and although I miss him dearly and would love to have just another day with him, if it meant he had to come back to earth and experience the pain and suffering we had to watch him go through, I would not wish him back then. My father was a wonderful, good man and I know ifthere is a heaven, he is certainly there. This is a time of suffering I am afraid I did not find comfort for and still have not found comfort as far as my heart missing him, however knowing he is not hurting any longer gives me some comfort.2.Briefly summarize the problem of evil and suffering.
