The two areas where money is best spent are: 1. A hazard inspection to determine the presence of potential dangers in your organisation; and/or 2. A WHS audit to identify gaps in your existing safety management system. b HSR or Health and Safety Representative can be elected among workers. The powers and functions of HSRs are limited to the workers they represent in the work group unless there is a serious risk to health or safety emanating from an immediate or imminent exposure to a hazard that affects or may affect a member of another work group or a member of another work group asks for the representative's assistance and, in either case, the HSR and deputy HSR (if any) for that other work group is found, after reasonable inquiry, to be unavailable. 5 Providing records of all WHS issues that happened in the past and how they were treated, following all procedures. 6 As soon as a manager/supervisor has been informed of a WHS issue the parties must meet and communicate with each other to attempt to resolve the issues having regard to relevant matters. The degree and immediacy of risk to workers or other persons involved in the issue. The number and location of workers and other persons affected by the issue. The measures (both temporary and permanent) that must be implemented to resolve the issue. Who will be responsible for implementing the resolution measures. 7a A Worker may raise a WHS issue with their Line Manager or supervisor. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
