The format used here is suitable for many reports: Introduction Findings Conclusion Recommendations Feasibility report on cooperation with Samos Introduction The aim of this report is to assess the feasibility of an agreement with Samos, the well-known Korean manufacturer of smartphones. They have contacted us and asked about the possibility of a cooperation agreement. We would adapt our business app for their phones and it could be pre-installed for customers. Tests show that their phones are reliable and are very popular with our target market. This report will look at the hardware manufacturer and their equipment the app that could be used on their mobile phones the advantages of working together recommendations for action. Findings Samos have been developing mobile devices for thirty-five years. In the last five years they have focused on more expensive smartphones for business people. These have been very successful: at present one in four smartphones in the business market is a Samos. Our new ‘Executive Organizer’ Android app has a lot of attractive features for travelling business people and is selling very well. Market research shows that there is a lot of interest in our app being used on Samos smartphones. Conclusion There is certainly scope of cooperation with Samos. Recommendation I recommend that we should meet with representatives from Samos as soon as possible to discuss cooperation between our companies, with the aim of pre-installing our app on their smartphones. The introduction gives a quick overview of the total situation. It’s often useful to preview what the report contains. The findings are the facts discovered. Recommendations are practical suggestions to deal with the situation and ideas for making future activities run more easily. The conclusion is what you think about the facts and how you interpret them.
