The legacy that was created by the use of the bomb was that although it has tremendous power it could successfully influence world peace in a violent way. By using the bomb, the United States was able to decrease Japan’s power in looking for a war. Bombing Japan kept them calm at first due to such a tragedy and their people needing help, but later on gets them angry. I think that there would not be another bomb used in war because we have learned from our mistakes and understand how powerful atomic bombs can be. There has been agreements and laws between countries not allowing the creation or use of such bombs in some countries due to the terrifying results of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan.
