5 Lab Guide Overview In this lab guide, you will get hands-on experience with NetScaler and its features. This lab guide will enable you to work with product components and perform required and options configuration steps for the AppExpert policy engine, Content Switching, Optimization, GSLB, and Secure Web Gateway. Before You Begin: This Lab Guide has been designed to explain you both the configuration modes, command line interface (CLI) and Graphical User Interface (GUI). You are encouraged to explore both methods. However, we recommend that you choose a method in the beginning of the exercise and continue with it throughout the exercise for better understanding of the configuration. We have included optional exercises in this lab guide for extra practice. You are encouraged to explore the exercises. NetScaler (Version 12) can be accessed using any browser. But for better demonstration of the use case we suggest that you use Google Chrome for accessing NetScaler management page and Mozilla Firefox for testing the configuration. Tools Used: For SFTP access: WinSCP For Command Line Interface access: Putty For Packet Traces: Wireshark, Fiddler
