Briefly summarize your thoughts on Rogers’s major concepts of the self, self-actualization, and unconditional positive regard.For the most part, we all have some sort of idea of who we want to be, and the way we want to be seen in other’s eyes but, not too many of us understand who we really are. In life, we go through a lot of reevaluating when it comes to who we think we are. Roger’s major concepts of the self, self-actualization, and unconditional positives regard was basically stating that if individuals perceive and accept with this particular system provided, then each of us can be moreunderstanding and more acceptive of others as individuals.What research design(s) did Rogers use in his studies? Rogers used a comparative research design which included “client-centered therapy,” using thesesessions for his research. Do you think Rogers conducted his research ethically? Why or why not?I do believe that Rogers conducted his research ethically. He ensured a high standard concerning confidentiality of clients and he made sure he had consent for the case studies.
