MMT programs also provide medical and counseling services, such as training a community how to identify someone who is experiencing an overdose and “what steps to take to prevent death from an overdose” (Blackburn et al., 2017). The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
