By providing training and support they are acknowledging to the employees that they are open and willing to expand teaching tools for a more cohesive working environment. The workshops remaining as a continued training tool will also assist in rebuilding the trust between employees and the company. Alton (2019) confirms that ‘When people know each other and have established trust, it's far easier to have difficult conversations or ask for help’. ConflictsThere are several potential sources of conflict that may arise as a result of the internal communication. Senior management must be aware that the process of correcting the communication and trust issues with the employees will not be resolved overnight or even after the first phase or second phase of the plan presented in the communication. There is a large amount of distrust from the employees and although senior management has presented a plan for change, the trust will need to be regained over time. Employees must ensure they participate 100% during the Town Hall Meetings and communicate truthfully. If there is doubt and apprehension, then their answers will not be truthful which will affect the overall results which could delay, or complicate potential changes observed as being beneficial. If employees are not comfortable with communicating within their own departments with managers, then follow up

It will be an important task for each manager to ensure that employees are reached, and the open-door policies are maintained and reiterated as well as confidence restored. As each conflict arises it will be important and necessary for managers and departments to address them face to face and keep the lines of communication open. It will be department managers and senior management’s position that ‘The most desirable result of the group discussion is consensus, where everyone agrees on the solution. But this may not always be feasible’ (North, 2020). By keeping the lines of communication open and addressing the conflicts as they occur, managers and senior management will be able to avoid another anonymous letter.External CommunicationMediumExternal Communication occurs between a company and its external shareholders; customers, investors. Compared to internal communication the frequency of external communication is low. External Communication determines the way a company connects or disseminates information to the audiences externally.
