It damages the sovereignty structure/ultimate rules over its citizen. 3.2.7Bill Clinton – did the most in reshaping the concept of sovereignty in the world.Rwandan genocide (1994) – U.N./U.S. questioned if it’s really a genocide, poor regions?Civil War/Wars of Independence of Yugoslavia (1995) – disintegrated in the early 1990-1991, not until 1995 when U.S. got involved because of majority ethnic group (Serbs) were conducting acts of genocide in Bosnia and Hercegovina. NATO – North Atlantic Treaty Organization intervened the genocide in Bosnia (1995)1999 US/NATO intervene in Serbia – stop Slobodan Milosevic (Serbian President) conducting genocide in Kosovo (Kosovar Albanians). Bush administrations – Protecting Kurds from genocide in Iraq.
