The students are to discuss and as they discuss, the teacher will prepare space for group work and materials for the three groups. As a HighScope organized classroom, the students will be able to locate any additional materials they may need on their own and will take the initiative to locate more material since they are aware of where material are located in the classroom. The students are instructed to to go ahead and work but the teacher will move around assisting and providing support to those whom may need it. This lesson will follow the plan do review is a sequence in which children, will provide their activity, work on it, and upon completion of their projects in their corners will present in front of the class as well as the teacher. Answer(s): In these lessons, the students will see the change of weather patterns. The students will understand the concept of “Understood Change”, and will also understand the change that weather will have on the environment as well as people’s lives. The teachers will plan for students learning by choosing the objectives and for those objectives to be accomplished during these lessons and choosing activities to accomplish them. Lesson 1 Types of Weather Objective(s): Students should be able to: State different weather conditions List and describe different weather conditions Materials Needed : Laptop Cut-Outs Projector Speakers Introduction: Students will watch a video on weather and will be required to make a list of all the different weather conditions seen from the video. After the video is over, the class will discuss each weather condition and will state the weather condition at the current moment. Students will describe the type of clothing worn for each type of weather condition. Students will state the effects on different weather conditions on their activites and will also share their experiences with these weather conditions. – The teacher will have various clothing items placed on the desk. The students will be placed in different groups and each group will choose a slip of paper from a bag and on the slip that they choose will tell them the type of weather they have to represent. The groups will have to discuss the type of clothing worn on the day and the activities that could be done on that day. Each group has to nominate
