They thought if the ERA was ratified, meant that men and women would have the same rights and for that reason they will switch roles, making men spend more time in the kitchen and taking care of the children when their wives work. They have the idea that the wife will become the husband and the husband the wife, and they would lose this way the leadership of the house. On 1972, the Title IX of Education Amendments of 1972 was signed into law, changing the role and rights of women in modern America. Title IX is a federal civil law which expresses that “No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving federal financial assistance” [Tit]. The Title IX was approved for the Court and it can be applied only to programs that receive financial aid. The main purpose of this
