I can give examples and explain how tourism has grown in NC over the last four years. I can explain the positive and negative affects technology has had upon industry in NC. I can explain the impact the agricultural industry has had on NC. Suggested Resources Each student can have a map of NC. Have them draw I-40. Then have them draw signposts along the way indicating ways that I-40 has affected North Carolina (positively and negatively). Create an illustrated double-bubble of the positive and negative affects of industrialization in NC. Create a foldable with four categories: Agriculture, Industry, Education, and Technology. Have students list and illustrate products and affects on the state past and present.
