This preview shows page 1 out of 1 page.

My understanding is changing in light of the new material that I studying because I thought there was only notepad and others but never the software that I’m about to learn from. The “ah-ha moments” hit me when I finally found Einstein and set it up correctly. I know that I have to dedicate a lot of time navigating around to different site to I get understand the material so I can do my best job. My thinking is that this class will be a difficult all the way to the end but on a positive note; I want to be a web developer and I love to decorate so now I’ll be design web site instead of houses. I have been following the instruction being given in the syllabus. Taking my time, reading it over and over until I get it right and practicing the things learned and software that I’ve been working with, is the best way for me to feel that I’ll be successful in achieving the things that I need to learn. I characterize my learning this week as the most intense journal. The materials I needed to gather were all over the place and believe me I was on the helpdesk line often. The language hasn’t change a lot but it is the designing that’s in my “exploring web design” book that has me a little nervous but it will be o.k., I’ll stick to my studying habits. I didn’t experience any surprises this week with the language because I comfortable with it. I tried out Nvu and it was fun, but I did take my time and you have to have patient when coding. <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"> <html> <head> <meta content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859-1" http-equiv="content-type"> <title>hello world</title> </head> <body> <h1> Hello World </h1> <p>why we should eat candy<br> </p> </body> </html>

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
