To understand the impact they have had, I will tell you about their history, the music they made and the ‘Beatlemania’ that is still around today. The Beatles have an impressive history. In 1957, George Harrison, Ringo Starr, Paul McCartney and John Lennon formed the group. It took them six years to reach the status that rocketed them to stardom. In 1963, they went to London to begin performing in larger venues like Royal Albert Hall. They were the first group to play in a baseball stadium. After hundreds of concerts, the world was officially in love and the term Beatlemania was made. Beatlemania continued, with the group still gaining popularity in the U.S. and many other countries around the world. For the next seven years the group made new and amazing music, then in 1969 they broke up. The members decided to separate to go on with different parts of their lives. After parting ways the group continued to find success in life. According to Forbes, Paul McCartney is still touring and has a net worth of 800 million dollars. In 2001, George Harrison passed away, leaving his wife and son around 228 million. Ringo Starr is still alive with an estimated net worth of 195 million. In 1980, John Lennon was shot and killed by Mark Chapman in front of his New York home. In 1982 his estimated net worth was 150 million dollars and in 2008, he earned 9
