Brief overview of book content (Approximately 4 to 6 sentences) One duck gets stuck in the much in the marsh by the pond and asks for help to get out of the dire situation. The number goes in sequential order 1-10 to assist with learning cardinality. First 2 of animal come to help and are unsuccessful, then 3 of another animal come to try, this continues up to 10 dragonflies trying to get the duck out of the muck but unfortunately were also unsuccessful. Finally all of the groups of animals together help to get the duck out of the muck and they did! The duck said thank you and flew away. Opinion of the book (Approximately 1 to 2 sentences) I enjoyed the different sets of animals doing their best to try and help a fellow animal by the pond. The ending was very sweet with all the animals working together to finally get the duck out of the muck. Notes on illustration (Approximately 1 to 2 sentences)
