busy? There is a lot to learn from these questions. Organization and cleanliness can give you a feel for how the technicians work, are they spending a good amount of time looking for a tool or is it put away and easily accessible. If the shop is clean it lets you know that they care about their space and will most likely treat your vehicle the same way. If the shop is busy it can mean that people trust them and or they do good work. Just by being in the space you can learn a lot about each shop and the technicians that work there. After looking at the shop you can talk to the technicians to get a better feel for the shop and ask any questions that you might have. Is the technician willing to answer your questions and talk to you or do they not want to be bothered?

Is the shop welcoming? Once you feel comfortable with a shop it is always a good idea to take the shop for a “test drive” and use them for routine maintenance or a minor repair. Did they go the extra mile for you or was it just a basic service and most importantly did they do a good job at a fair price. Building a relationship with a shop or a technician before anything major needs to be done on your car can end up saving you both time and money in the long run as you will know exactly where you will be taking your vehicle, who will be working on it and the quality of the work that will be performed..

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
