Cuba via ship and so the United States set up a blockade so that they could not deliver them. When the ships reached the blockade we reached an agreement that there would not be any missiles in Cuba so long as the United States removed missiles from Turkey. In order to prevent further brinkmanship, the United States also had to agree to no invade Cuba and there was also a hot line installed which went from Moscow to the United States to help avoid this type of situation in the future. 4. North Vietnam sensed the betrayal by their close ally and signed a peace treaty in Paris, thus removing all U.S. forces from South Vietnam. 5.
