Due to the free market, it lead to the expansion of finance which supported by the transnational agencies and organization. Student 3 “In doing so, they create the IMF and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, better known as the World Bank--institution that critics charge are responsible in good measure for the economic, environmental, and cultural fiascos they cite as proof of globalization's systematic wrongs.” Within this idea, the interest part about it is how globalization work in which different nations around the world comes together and gathered around discussing about the method in recovering the WW2 economic recovery and by creating a new system of security and to ensure that the economic will develop and it would help fix the problems that each nation have after the WW2 such as economic problem, environmental problem, more. After reading the idea, it makes me picture how the system might work and how it might be doing in order to fix the different problems in each nations. It give the ideas for us to learn from the past system to help or fix others problems by being globalized from one to another, so we can each other in any or under circumstances. Student 4

In Book Activity 1, you were asked, “What questions do you have about globalization?” Did the article answer any questions that you had? Student 1 The article did not fully answer my questions that were asked in Book Activity 1. However, it gives me an idea that globalization gives both negative and positive impact on individuals. The positive is the improvements and interconnected of each countries together. Whereas, the negative impacts are the changes of lifestyle, cultural influences and discrimination of low wealth nations. Another idea that I know is that the World Bank, WTO and the IMF are the one that are responsible for solving economic issues.
