Division of labour (work): is an important element of bureaucracy which specialisation increases the output of the firm by making them more efficient (Robbins and Coulter,2016). First all, organisation is structured with goal of attaining the maximum effectiveness and efficiency, so they want to rationalize the organisation as much as possible. In case of Burger King, in term of specialisation, there is principle which is division of labour. Everybody has assigned to do different task. Example: when I had an interview with a burger king employee in Shah Alam area he said all employees such as cashier, accounting, cooker etc., have different task so, any of them cannot work in task or position of another, he/she must do the definite task/position has already assigned to him by the management, (Jawid, 2017). Formal Selection: formal selecting is an element of bureaucracy that talks about the technical ability of each employee or worker, application should meet the requirement which is needed by organisation/firm (Robbins and Coulter,2016). for example, in an 85-person job opportunity of burger king organisation in Dubai only 65 persons met the requirement of BK the rest of the participant failed to get job in this organisation (Gulf News, 2015) 3

Impersonality: impersonality is another element of bureaucracy, which establish the policies ahead of personalities that all the members should go through it (Robbins and Coulter,2016). Example: BK is committed to the highest ethics standards in the operations of its global business and activities of its management. This code of ethics s upplements the Company’s Code of Business Ethics and Conduct such as honesty and financial conduct, code of ethics law and policies, performance of duties and conflict of interests (Burger King Worldwide Inc., 2012), overall all BK employees should follow the rules without any personality with anyone in organisation.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
