architecture to blueprint a plan of action to achieve its current and future objectives in an
efficient and effective manner greatly increases its chances for success. The DMV will need to
implement the results from the enterprise architecture team strategic planning effort.
Furthermore, a detailed business plan needs to be developed and presented to management and
stakeholders for their approval. Finally, all requirements identified need to be improved or
refined to meet the present and future goals of the DMV. With that in mind, utilizing an
enterprise architecture program has been justified because it will give the DMV a proven method
to reach its objectives efficiently.
