them and now they have lost their hunting instincts. Joking around I say to my brother that he will probably leave if I walk right past him but my brother is not so sure. I step closer and the hawk doesn’t move an inch. As a matter of fact he beams right at me, waiting for me to do something. I look at the hawk’s talons and then back at my brother. Nope! We’ll take the long way back around. As we walk around the bridge we both laugh. I think if we followed through and walked past the hawk it wouldn’t have went well because he didn’t look like he was playing around at all. My brother and I arrive back to our towels and supplies. He picks up a beanbag from the corn hole set next to us and asks if I want to play a game.

1:45 PM I’m not very good at corn hole at all, even though I have played several times. My brother has never played before though and is even worse. We toss the bean bag a few times and both miss the hole on each of our tossed. While we play we talk about random things. Topics that include how school is going for the both of us. We talk about sports, video games fun things to do, we talk trash about how bad each of us is at the game and just random things that have nothing to do with the task at hand. Talks like this are some of my favorite because we’re not really taking anything seriously so I feel that is when I feel all of our conversation has no true meaning. Its brother bonding at its finest and I enjoy every bit of it. Finally I score a few points and start gloating. Of course the second I do my brother scores a point right after. We continue playing rather badly and using up time, occasionally scoring points until we are both tied at 18 to 18. The next shot wins it and we both are unsuccessful at getting the win. After what seems like an eternity of throwing the bean bags back and forth my brother makes a really nice shot and just barely misses the hole. Now it’s my turn. I make the shot and win the game. My brother doesn’t seem to care but I make a joke and he laughs and then I laugh. I’m glad that my brother appreciates my weird sense of humor. Even though were both pretty competitive I’m glad that we can chill out and play a simple game of corn hole and have fun without caring who the winner is. I have class in two hours so it’s about time for us to go home. My brother takes the initiative and grabs his towel and the rest of his supplies and I grab mine. As we load up my car and begin to make the short drive home I find myself appreciating that the day went so well and that we got to spend some much needed quality time with each other. As I’m driving my brother falls asleep with a smile on his face, so I know that he had a good time too. 10/20/18 8:00 PM Today is a big day for me. It is the day that I make my MMA debut. After many long grueling months of training and the years of intense wrestling practices and preparation I am about to leave it all in the cage and fight another man for the opportunity to get a win and show that I am there to be the best.
