courthouse questioning their beliefs is, why did God gift people with the power to think (83). Drummond found a very clever loophole when he stated that fact. Since Hillsboro is very familiar with the topic of God he hits home by raising questions that they never allowed themselves to ask before. Drummond is a very reasonable man asking very reasonable and realistic questions that show he has solidifying knowledge of both sides of the argument. Finally, when Brady falsely accuses Drummond of attempting to destroy everybody's belief in the bible, Drummond fires back ¨I'm trying to stop you bigots and ignoramuses from controlling the education of the United States¨ (87). He does not want the future generations to come to be thought what they should and shouldn't think. In conclusion, freedom of thinking is important in every part of the world we live in today. The trial that took place in Hillsboro was much more than just a trial. It stirred up the conversation of knowledge and education everywhere, and it impacted many. Drummond expressed his values and Rachel changed as a person entirely. Information is there for others to experience and learn for themselves. Robbing people the right to think and have their own ideas will leave society boring and bland without differences. So let's not allow others to stop us from sharing our thoughts, ideas, and opinoins.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
