and was earlier at a counselling session, when the pastor received a called that his prescription was ready. However, the pastor has a pressing issue to attend to and the ‘king-pin’ though, himself on a schedule benevolently volunteered to pick-up and drop off the prescription, which as it turns out was what the eye-witness saw. Therefore, all pastors are criminals who will do anything for money. c. Unbalanced or biased presentation . The Island of Antigua and Barbuda recently had a referendum concerning whether to adopt the Caribbean court of Justice (CCJ) as the final appellate court in the Caribbean. The ruling administration came under scrutiny as a result of the referendum was a resounding rejection of the argument for a ‘yes’ vote was blamed on them. 7

TECHNICAL COMMUNICATION The administration counted that it in fact did have a number of consultations, town-hall meetings, stake-holders conferences and the result may be that of demotivated electorate or in fact having no interest in the referendum. It could likewise be safe to assume that the presentations made were inadequate and unbalanced. d. Unexamined assumptions . These are assumptions taken for granted that drives a belief and creates an opening for consequences to show up. For example, climate change does not exist. I do not need to concern myself with this. I have my own challenges to handle. e. Faulty casual reasoning . This results from studies which states that one thing causes another without sufficient evidence. For example, during a routine surgery the syringes for the adrenaline and sedative were mixed up. When the patient’s heart rate started to climb a bit of what was thought to be the sedative was injected and the heart rate climbed faster, more was injected and this continued until the boy died. The faulty reasoning in this case was that climb in heart rate had started before the first injection so no blame for a further rise was given to the injection. Part D- Checklist Style for a Local Newspaper I would like to express my sincere opinion about the optimum length of the school day in both the primary and elementary school. However, teachers and I base my arguments merely on observations. 8

TECHNICAL COMMUNICATION In my opinion, the length of time that primary and elementary schools students spend at school is excessively long. It must be taken into consideration the short attention span and comfort level of these students who have to be at school for these long period of time. Nonetheless, to solve this issue, two viewpoints should be cautiously evaluated. Firstly, we should wisely consider the needs and requirements of the children. As compared to focusing on the limits the education system has imposed. In your view, which is more important? With this said, if it becomes important to prioritize the two situations, it is prudent to consider the first circumstance. This is because the very existence of the education system is to meet the educational needs of children. 9
