URGENCY The people without water desperately need it. As stated previously, 90% of diarrheal disease related deaths occurred in children under five. In Zambia, 119 children out of every 1,000 live births die before they reach the age of five due to water related disease, malnutrition, or AIDS (UNICEF). Saving some of these lives with access to clean water, the most basic of needs, will greatly impact these communities and change the way they live.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
