Nowadays, only a few days after the first flight into the airport, there are already contracts underway to begin commercial flights to and from the area. SpiceJet, the countries largest low-cost airlines, just announced two daily routes to Pakyong airport from Kolkata and Guwahati, both taking around an hour and a half. The flights will really open up the region, allowing areas that weren’t accessible to most people to be visited and toured. In conclusion, If you are ever in India, Sikkim seems to be a very popular tourist destination. With this new airport being built, the economy of the villages around it should see some improvement with tourists travelling that way. Being the only airport in the whole state of Sikkih, everyone travelling that way will get to see a brand-new airport that was just recently constructed with breathtaking views. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
