14 Homework Assignments Review the Homework Guidelines below! Late homework will only be accepted up to the beginning of the next class period. Homework Grading You receive points for correct answers. Simply handing in homework does not guarantee points. Working with Others on Homework While I encourage you to have discussions with other students about these assignments, be sure to hand in your own work . Use your own ideas and words. This means that cutting and pasting anything from another student’s homework or using another student’s words or ideas constitutes plagiarism. If, in my opinion, two or more homework assignments from different students appear similar, I reserve the right to: 1) give all students involved a zero for the homework or 2) give all students involved an F for the course. See Academic Honesty in this syllabus. Homework Guidelines 1. Homework assignments are due at the beginning of the class period on the day they are due for submission . If you do not hand in your assignment when I collect them at the beginning of class, it is late. If you arrive after the assignment has been collected, it is late. If you hand it in at the end of class, it is late. In order to be considered submitted ON- TIME , you must also submit certain homework assignments to Safe Assign on Blackboard by 11:59 PM on the day it is due. 2. No late homework is accepted for full credit. ‘Late’ is defined as homework that is not submitted as per the guidelines above. a. 15 c. Late homework will only be accepted at the very beginning of the next class. i.e. before the lecture begins. It must also be submitted to TurnItIn by that time. d. The penalty for late homework is a reduction of your score by 25% of the total points available for that particular homework. For example, if a homework assignment is worth 16 points and you turn it in late, then your actual score will be reduced by 4 points.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
