Financial Analysis: Kohl’s Corporation has benefited from their increased sales these past few years, and has continued to do so in the most recent quarter. Stock Performance In 1992 Kohl’s completed its initial public offering of 11.1 million shares. Since then, the Kohl’s stocks (KSS) have increased steadily. In this past year, Kohl’s stock prices have gone from about $39 in April 2017 to $62.33 as of April 29, 2018 (Figure 1). Unlike other competitors that are also in the stock market, this company has been able to improve each year as their stock prices increase. One of Kohl’s biggest retail competitor is Macy’s, and as shown in the stock charts of both companies, Macy’s stock prices have declined drastically, and has not been able to pass the $40 stock price mark (Figure 2).

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
