TABLE II The extent of interaction of students with their family Mean 1.63 Standard Deviation 1.51 This table presents the mean and standard deviation of the extent of interaction of students with their family from the result of the survey conducted. The result of the survey is analyzed and has the mean of 1.63 which correspond to moderately low. It means that the Grade 11 students of Our Lady of La Porteria Academy have moderately low extent of interaction with their family. The standard deviation of the mean is 1.51 which means that the scores of the respondents are distributed near the mean. The value of significant of the two variables is 0.16 that is higher the alpha value (0.05), which means that Facebook addiction has no significant relationship to the family interaction of the Grade 11 students of Our Lady of La Porteria Academy. CHAPTER V CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS This study was conducted to determine the relationship of addiction on Facebook to family interaction of grade 11 students enrolled at Our Lady of La Porteria Academy for school year 2019-2020. 34 Facebook have become part of our day to day lives. This is some of source of happiness revolves in the world of Facebook where in youth go beyond their limits just to gain more likes and reactions. The increase of Facebook users shows that it is continuously growing. The finding of the research questions presents that the level of Facebook Addiction among the Grade 11 students. Research Question 1 Findings The level of addition in Facebook of the students has a mean of 2.6 which corresponds to moderately high according to the Bergen Facebook Addiction Scale. It has a standard deviation of 0.15 which means that the scores of the students are distributed near the mean and the students have almost the same level of addiction in Facebook.
