point. In the video they mention that multiple I.T. experts were figuring out when the hacking was coming from. When looking through the logs of being hacked they found an I.P. address leading to Asia which concludes that china is stealing. One of the I.T. members states that the Chinese have been hacking which has been dated back to 2000. Question 3 : What does Adam Siegel in the video claim is the motivation of the Chinese government for conducting cyberespionage against the United States? Adam Siegel points out that China doesn’t want to rely on America for there technology. The Chinese are afraid that they will fall behind the United States and their economic growth will slow down. China wants to get away from items saying, “made in china” and be the creator instead of the maker. China to get out from the bottom and not worry about falling behind the competitors. Question 4: Why didn’t Nortel management take the Chinese threat seriously? Why do various contributors in the video claim that American management does not take the problem seriously? The video didn’t really establish why Nortel didn’t take the Chinese threat seriously. Management didn’t worry about the cyber espionage because they didn’t see it being related to there business. They thought if their business is working properly then the hack is no threat.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
