the strain. I regretted taking the bet more and more each day. The thought of getting a dog was what drove me through this horror. There was nothing I could do but to read. Days passed more and more slowly. There were times when I had wished that I could just sleep for a thousand years and let everything by. It was August and I had learned one thousand and five hundred words. My dad was speechless of my performance. I have achieved the impossible. I never really got to the other five hundred words. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
