This will involve choosing the applicant who most closely matches the criteria set out in the person specification for the job. A number of selection techniques exist, including the following: 1. Questionnaire Although different techniques can be used to select the best candidate but this scenario I would like to recommend using the case study method to select the candidate for the above mentioned position. Because Case study Under this technique real problems that are faced by the managers are taken for study. While undergoing training, trainees are asked to cases to identify problems, find out reasons for such problems, develop alternatives solutions, select the best solution, and implement it. Case study can provide stimulating discussions among participants, as well as excellent opportunities for individual to guard their analytical and judgmental abilities. This will help Page 13
