Claims go as far back as 1977, and again in early 2014, when a Title IX investigation cleared Nassar of any wrong doing. Title IX, as discussed previously in class, “protects people from discrimination based on sex in education programs or activities that receive Federal financial assistance” (U.S. Department of Education, 2018). The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
