also known as kinesics which involves meaning through body movement, facial expressions, and eye contact (Hahn & Paynton, 2018). The man in the dark-blue suit appears to be open and very confident in what he is saying while giving eye contact. Although hard to see, one leg appears to be slightly bent towards the recipient with open arms and hands. His thumbs are also faced upward while his hands are relaxed in an open position. The man in the grey suit is also giving eye contact but appears to be reserved and closed off by folding his hands in semi casual manner. According to the article “13 Revealing Body Language Hand Gestures” folded/clasping hands is a sign of nervousness, fear or uncertainty while open hands is a sign of positivity or making amends (Fradet, 2018). Perhaps the man in the grey suit doesn’t fully trust or have confidence in what is being said to him or didn’t complete a task with a client. The body language presented here conveys that there is a chance the two aren’t in a mutual agreement in this conversation, even though the man on the recipient end of the conversation is smiling. As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
