I would inform them to be well acquainted with their characters and the story as well as the technical actions that will take place along with their lines. I would make sure to list that Romeo must be fairly young looking and very fit. He must be timid and yet confident in his actions and speech. Juliet must be fair and beautiful to look at. She must display vivid emotion from the stage. After rehearsals I may see that the chemistry between the two lovers is lacking genuine emotion. I would suggest they spend more time together off set to get to know each other and hopefully become better friends. I may also suggest that they better their knowledge of their lines.

2. Describe a film or play that you've seen in which your artistic vision would be different from the artistic vision of the production you saw. How does your artistic vision differ from the production you saw? In other words, what would you change about the film/play in order to meet your artistic vision? In the film Phantom of the Opera, I would make sure that the actors sang their vocals live and I would make the costumes more elaborate and romantic. I would have the characters express more emotions and be more versatile in their acting abilities instead of being straight faced the entire time. I also would have made sure that the actors were classically trained to sing opera.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
