The purpose of patriotism has always been directed in creating moral and love towards all citizen of a country which was exactly what happen after 9/11. You see after the attack and Bush’s declaration of war the U.S. was still suffering from the lives that were lost on that day but an amazing had transpired from the attack and it was undying love for this country. To be more specific when president bush gave a speech following the attack he said, “These acts of mass murder were intended to frighten our nation into chaos and retreat. But they have failed. Our country is strong. A great people has been moved to defend a great nation. Terrorist attacks can shake the foundations of our biggest buildings, but they cannot touch the foundation of

Coming together as American showed a level of patriotism that couldn’t spark any rise to a radical terriost-cell with a purpose to stop the war in the Middle East.
