Therefore, an experienced leader the supervisors are responsible in contributing to creating a training program for new employees. When employees do not know how to perform, training or job aids are employed to help with the situation. Job aids are instruments used on the job to improve human performance by enhancing the knowledge and/or skills of a performer. Job aids have the 15 same purpose as training, but training implies instruction and learning. After effective training, trainees can do something they could not do before training because of what they have learned. Job aids are considered instructional interventions because they also mediate knowledge/skills problems. However, job aids are not really intended for learning, they rather substitute for learning. Job aid can help to maximise process efficiency through various options. Physical Work Environment Physical work environment is the factor that deals with physical framework, in which place the job tasks are carried out in. Physical environment consists of variables from interior furniture to computers, windows, the conditions of light in the work place, temperature of the room. It can be seen from studies that all these factors can disturb or influence the employees working quality. Presence of noise distraction can alter the work task efficiency in some employees who do not tolerate it that well. Physical work settings can possibly influence the interpersonal relations in the workplace, as bigger spaces often leave more personal space for workers. A study conducted by Barry P. Haynes discovered that employee performance and physical settings at work do go together.
