EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY LAWS AND IMPORTANT 3 since there is a belief that says disability is not inability. They are people who can perform just like the others. Another law that is implemented is that one is not supposed to force the employees to work, especially those with disabilities in conditions that an easily create unwarranted hardship. The protection is also present by the federal employees. The law has been in existence since 1973 and has done and achieved the best in that the employees are not subjected to risky situations and benefit the company or organization (Burstein,2010) . It is an important law because the employees could be easily be subjected to hazardous situations, and those with disabilities are more susceptible; hence, they need some levels of protection. Today when one is forced to work in such a case, he or she can seek legal guidance, and the organization risks court battles or being fined and image tarnished. The law is under the rehabilitation act of 1973 and caters to most organizations employees, including contractors, federal agencies, and businesses.
