After all his awards and recognition Jacobsstarted working with many well known designers, that helped him build his reputation. In1997, Jacobs became the Creative Director for Louis Vuitton, where his first job was tocreate the first ready to wear line. Jacob’s first ready to wear line even inspired LV tocreate the graffiti bags that were only sold for one season, making them very exclusive.LV is very lucky to have Marc Jacobs work for them because he is the most influentialAmerican designer of his time. Marc Jacobs has inspired LV become even more innovative andhelped the company to always stay creative while designing their goods.Antoine Arnault was the Director of Communications for Louis Vuitton. Antoineis the son of Bernard, CEO of LVMH. Antoine began the job of Director ofCommunications in 2002. In 2006 he was named to its board of directors. Antoine is incharge of advertising, public relations, press, events and corporate matters. In advertisinghis job is to always show elegance and to attract their target market. The advertising hasto have and inspiring feel and had to show a lifestyle of sophistication and grace. Whenyou look at LV advertising you can’t help to get captured by the scenery they choose asthe background and the way it makes the products and clothing stand out. They had madefamous people be part of their ad campaigns, for example Madonna. Most of theadvertising done by LV is to capture new customers, but most importantly to keep theirexisting customers wanting more. For Antoine being in charge of public relations, pressevents and corporate matters comes a bit easier because he is not only letting thecompany down, but his father as well. Antoine does a great job with the press; the pressalways believes that catching up with him is a myriad highlight. This shows that Antoineknows how to give the company a good name and reputation.
