With every release of a new product line up, manufacturers will need to allocate the correct amount of resources for every manufacturing process, and is driven mainly by demand forecast (Collier & Evans, 2013. p.280). Production rate and workforce are huge variables as well when new product line ups are in place and dependingon the competition from rival manufacturers, more overtime and hiring of manpower will be utilized to speed up the process.
