he desires revenge, he wants to take his uncles life. He works on a plan on how to revenge his father’s death. While planning out how he would go about the murder, Hamlet seems to lose his mind in the process. He is in a very dark state as he fights with his inner conscience to do what is right or to seek revenge. Hamlet had this battle with himself, kill his uncle Claudius for what he had done or to just move on and forget that it happened. Murder is wrong, after all. Hamlet wonders many times if murdering his uncle was an okay thing to do considering all that has happened to his family. His uncle was a murder himself and Hamlet needed

reinsurance that he was the killer of his late father. Hamlet has this battle of moral truth almost the whole play. Hamlet looked for different ways to make himself feel better about his plans, he needed a justification that what he was doing wasn’t immoral and evil. As the play progress further and further, Hamlet gets more and more reason to kill his uncle, he procrastinated the killing most of the play. He has a hard time actually pursuing the murder because of his battle of what is right versus what is wrong. But,
