of kindness. I am very kind, but I have my moments of weakness. When it comes to trustworthiness and honestly I would consider myself in the top percentile of the human population. I have always been very big on zodiac signs and I think mine have always been very spot on. I was born in the month of November making me a Scorpio and Scorpios are considered to be the most
honest and trustworthy of all of the signs which can be a very good thing but also a very bad thing at times. I am someone who if I am committed to someone or something I will stick with it no matter what. My trust is extremely hard to earn but once a person earns my trust I will do anything and everything for that person and apply my determination to stand by them no matter what. I am also very honest, almost to a fault. I will always tell the truth no matter what and I hate dishonesty in others. I am just as honest with myself as I am with others and I do not like people who lie, steal, accuse, etc. I am deeply emotional, and I care with extreme passion and I will always own up to that and the type of person I truly am. 7. Interpersonal skills class has many ways to cheat and cut corners. How would another person be looked upon who cut corners or cheated as compared to looking at yourself if you cut corners or cheat? a. Other person looked upon by you: If you yourself were to do something wrong it would be less wrongfully wrong then if someone else were to do the exact same thing. People think their actions are more ‘fair’ then when someone else does it because as humans we support the view of hypocrisy and the “its only okay of I do it” mentality. The other person would be wrong and should be punished for cheating and cutting corners, but I shouldn’t. b. You looked upon by you: As stated above we as humans support the view of hypocrisy and we think we should be treated differently than someone who did the exact same thing as us. I hate to admit it, but I know myself well enough and I am not afraid to admit it that I do act this way sometimes and I can be a hypocrite about certain things in my life. For example, this semester I have taken the role of the leader for one of my groups. Each week we are required to post on our classes discussion board and reply two times to others within the class. Every Friday I would send out a reminder to my group telling them to get it done. Previously we had some issues getting these replies done so I sent out a very straightforward message to them asking them to please make sure they get it done because my grade unfortunately relies on them as well. I have never missed completing my replies but one week I did because honestly I just forgot to. My immediate reaction was “oh well, its not like my group hasn’t done forgotten plenty of times before.” In that moment and now to this day as I am speaking about it I realize that I am a hypocrite and I gave myself way more of a
pass then I would have ever given to my group. This goes to show that I agree with this article and I think people really do treat themselves differently than others. I have been at fault
