(Vietinbank, 2018) Goals - VietinBank will focus resources to promote intensive business growth and continue to shift its business structure towards selective and efficient growth. We will strongly improve the quality of services, develop modern products and services, and raise service fee income and non-interest income to improve our income structure. We will constantly standardize all aspects of VietinBank’s operation including the improvement of risk management capacity, infrastructure development and the modernization of information technology according to international standards and practices, solidifying VietinBank’s top position in the market. Objectives (SMART) The objectives of Vietinbank is profitability growth of 30% in the period 2018- 2020. This aim was established by Vietinbank, with specific strategies and plans for implementation. These goals can be measured by the results of sales of products and services. Through the implementation of the above plan, goals can be achieved . Or it can be understood that the goals can be accomplished by the bank. It is a result oriented and time bounded since the bank's goals is to achieve it in the period 2018-2020.

1.4. The performance of Vietinbank. The performance of Vietinbank analysed in a specific way: In 2016, Vietinbank has achieved impressive figures in previous years. The total assets reached 948.699VND bill, up 22% compared to 2015. And achieved 107% over the target set out at the beginning, equal the percentage at total funding. There is no change in Charter capital and ROAA was 37.234VND bill and 1.0%, respectively. The entire indicators have “Achieved” in exact numbers (Vietinbank, 2016).
