Si nce Nap. lost the diplomatic mind behind his accomplishments, Charles Maurice de Talleyrand, due to insulting him, he lost one of the ppl that may have stopped him from making the biggest mistake that would eventually end him. The Russians slowly started weakening Nap.’s forces by using the scorched-earth method and the french’s supplies were made even more tenuous due to the raiders who stole them before they could make it to the troops.
