Important Issues There are 2 exams, 5 homework assignments, and two team projects with deliverables of one written report and one video. The exam dates, homework due dates and project milestones are posted on the course schedule. The dates will not change.

An introduction to the course projects Four people will be assigned to each team. Each team has a minimum of one on-campus and one off-campus student; a minimum of one 433 and one 533 student Each team is required to work together to submit written components and a video on an energy related topic. Due dates for project milestones are on the course schedule. Each team will be work with either Wooldridge or Burns to guide and grade the team projects The team assignments will be posted on Canvas After the assignments are posted, you should reach out to your team partners immediately and start making introductions and sharing interests

More important information Communication, communication, communication! Check your settings in canvas that you receive emails of the Canvas Announcements Check your umich email and the Canvas site regularly. If you wish to use a non-umich email account (e.g. .com, etc.) to receive course messages, you must edit your settings in Canvas. On-campus office hours for Wooldridge are Tuesdays and Thursdays after class (12:00 – 1:00 p.m.) and by appointment. Office hours for Mr. Burnett will be announced on Canvas, and generally correspond to the days before the homework assignments are due. We will also share office hours with our sibling section. Professor David Kwabi’s ([email protected]) office hours are Monday and Wednesdays 1-2pm; GSI Taemin Kim’s ([email protected]) will be Thursdays 9:15-10:15 a.m., and TBD. Locations for Mr. Kim’s office hours are TBA. Email is the best way to reach us. Outside of office hours, homework questions (NOT related to grading) should be directed to our GSI Mr. Burnett
