Just like the eras from which they came the two

This preview shows page 11 - 12 out of 12 pages.

Just like the Eras from which they came the two educational thinkers were very different as well. Rousseau was a self-educated theorist who constructed a pedagogical plan that shaped early childhood learning. Whereas, Owen was a multidimensional social and educational theorist, who designed early education programs in which children were to learn the attitudes and behaviors that make them into cooperative adults. They both were instrumental in the development of early childhood education. Because of them we have our Universal Pre-K programs all across the world today.
