To this day this is still important because when women classify men as “appealing” or “beautiful,” they would often look for someone who is handsome and muscular. According to evolutionary biology, looks are important, and many people currently want spouses who are beautiful. Furthermore, outer beauty is important when people are searching for jobs. For example, models should appear flawless because the media has a standard of how models must look; they cannot be overweight or anything that is displeasing to the eye. However, often people cannot look to the best of their ability without the use of make-up, the latest fashion trends, and surgeries; these all play a major role in helping people look beautiful. Inner beauty is often referred to as “what is on the inside,” it is the qualities, the personality, and the thoughts of a person that make them beautiful. Inner beauty does not require good looks, instead it is about good deeds. It is similar to Plato’s theory, “what is good is beautiful and what is beautiful is good,” and true beauty is inspired by goodness in people. Inner
