We will have two replicas of each plant species for each different CO2 level, which we would measure plant height and stomatal conductance on alternating days. Plant height will be measured with a ruler and scored, whereas we will be using a porometer to measure stomatal conductance. 6. Describe the replication in your experimental design. How many individuals will there be in each treatment group? How many replicate measurements will you make for each data point? How will you calculate and present sample size and dispersion? For each treatment, there will be four replicates per plant. Since there are four replicates, we would take four measurements and average them for each data point. 7. How will you report the final results (not the raw data)? Will you use a table or a graph (and what kind of graph)? We would use a bar graph with average plant height and another average stomatal conductance 8.
