Organizational Resources
My organization uses software systems to promote compliance, and enhance Patient
Care
training models.
1.
This Vision is a comprehensive electronic health record that centralizes medical
records and
automates nursing clinical documentations and billing procedures. The software
utilizes
electronic workflows and step-by-step guidance to maintain compliance with federal
and state
regulations, plus organization policies and procedures. Also, Vision standardizes
processes
across over three hundred and sixty locations nationally.
2. my.MAXIMCONNECT.com
Another electronic machine, My Maxim Connect, offers comprehensive
communications and
trainings portal including audios for employees. This secure site is accessed
remotely or from the
office, allowing employees to access training, education opportunities, and payroll
information.
Assessments are offered at the end of sessions to validate staff mastering of
competencies.
Equally, there is room to review information until comfortability is attained.
Competencies and Effectiveness

NI development has optimized the quality of care and improved outcomes at my
work place. Being a
home care nurse, developing these competencies would increase my effectiveness
in retrieving and
inputting data electronically, analyzing and interpreting information as an aspect of
planning care,
utilizing informatics applications formulated for clinical practice, and implementing
policies related to
best practices.
