Alfred Bernhard Nobel was Swedish chemist, engineer, and industrialist, who invented dynamite and other, more powerful explosives and who also founded the Nobel Prizes. If it were not for his brother’s death he would’ve never known what the world thought of him. Because of the French newspaper obituary of himself he decided that he was going to change how the World would remember him. He did not want to be remembered as a killer because of dynamite, but as something better. That’s when he decided that he was going to change his will so that his fortune could be use for something better, to recognize people that had Torres Cruz 6
made a difference in this World. He created the Nobel Prize. This award is known worldwide and it is a great honor to receive it. The world does not know him as a “The Merchant of Death”, due to his invention of the dynamite, but as a great inventor that decided to use all his fortunate to benefit the rest of mankind.
