He finishes off the article by summarizing to look around us for the unnoticed heroes of the present. Zinn says this to notice the unknown heroes and worry about the present. To give credit to those for the heros that are present.

3 In the article “Unsung Heroes” writes about the idolized figures that we view in society aren’t worthy of our praise. Zinn questions the ways and causes doubt of some the status they have in society. He uses many different strategies to capture this. He uses pathos to imagery words like “humantirisim” and “slavery” create us a picutre invisioning what he wants us to see what these unfounded heroes did. He also uses pathos to captivate what some resulted in the deaths of 4,000 of 16,000 cherokees who were kicked” these words make us feel sympathy for people like Andrew Jackson who are praised and people who don’t get the recognition being there shadow casted upon. By also adding credibility for the people are unfounded heroes in the shadows of the people getting recognition with no evidence
